Daily routine.

Throughout each session, children are encouraged to join in with the routines of the setting. These routines will be adapted to suit the children's individual needs, abilities and interests. 

A snack/water station will be accessible throughout the sessions, staff will encourage the children to use this area independently, developing their self-help skills and confidence. Children are also welcome to bring their own drinks bottle which will be available to them throughout the day. 

Opening Times

Breakfast club: 7:30am - 9am

Short day: 9am - 3pm

Full day: 7.30am - 6pm

After school club 3:30pm - 6pm 

Morning Sessions

Children are welcomed with a free play session before gathering together for group time. The morning group time changes daily but can include, singing, dancing or games to start the day.

Children will then be able to access a variety of activities throughout the session. During the day, we like to access the outdoors, whatever the weather, including our stimulating outdoor space and visits/walks around the community. 

Children will be invited to join in with a group story time before going home or sitting down for lunch.

Afternoon Sessions

Children will begin the afternoon with group time, this can include singing, dancing or games. They will then be able to enjoy a range of activities. The children will be encouraged to try all of the available activities throughout the session and staff will support each child to follow their own interests to adapt and extend the activities. 

Children will be involved in tidy up times and encouraged to look after and sort out the resources during each session. The group will gather again at the end of the session for story and singing time.
