At The Treehouse, we are passionate about using the outdoor environment as an extension of our indoor learning. We will be regularly visiting the local nature reserve and surrounding areas to carry out a wide range of activities and explore the area in detail. Our staff are experienced in forest school sessions and are enthusiastic to include these exciting theories within our practice.
We will be travelling to a local forest school on a regular basis. These sessions will enrich development in all areas of learning, including self-help skills, knowledge and understanding of nature and physical, social and creative skills. The importance of learning in the outdoors is recognised nationally as a fundamental part of learning and development. Activities will include bug hunts, leaf printing, treasure hunts, model making, listening games, den building and lots more.
